UPM2T is an initiative that, through a program of sessions and activities during allow researchers to analyze the impact and business potential of technological projects and develop action plans for next steps, in addition to improving innovative knowledge and skills.

The 2023 edition of UPM2T program began on October 26, 2023 and finish by mid-February, 2024.During this time, the program promoted training on university related technologies stimulating innovative capacities among researchers, as an essential complement to their present and future activity.

UPM2T program has helped to identify the potential impact generated as a result of the IRTEMS project. IRTEMS results exploitation opportunities were improved by validating the technology-market-society relationship and acquiring a new business perspective applicable to evolving the technological solution for possible transformation into a product and services with high added value.

The ActúaUPM is a reference program on entrepeneurship training. The program aims to promote the generation of innovative ideas and encourage entrepreneurship at the university environment.

Results from the IRTEMS project were proposed to this program competing with more than 300 other ideas and achiving it to the third and final round of this entrepeneurship competition.

The 20th ActúaUPM program began on March 21, 2023 and finished on November 29, 2023 to promote training on university related entrepeneurship. This program has helped to understand and improve the commercial opportunities of IRTEMS results, develop a bussiness plan, identify potential customers, analyse protection opportunities and finances related to the materialisation of the project into a useful and commercially interesting tool.

The partcipation in this program has improved the opportunities to commenrzialice and exploid the results from the IRTEMS project.
